Bijan Robinson, David Montgomery, and Bucky Irving combined for 77.50; add Chris Olave’s 28.20 and that quartet alone outscored Jackson’s entire team. The draft audit’s C− was about price, but the players have already submitted an appeal. Even a 9.82 from Drake Maye and 2.60 from Jake Ferguson could not slow this down. Starting Las Vegas instead of the drafted Houston defense added 21 points. The 2023 Sacko opened 2026 with the league’s highest score and an 80.06-point win. Enjoy the receipts. You earned every decimal. The Raiders were a September 8 pickup for C.J. Stroud. Shark collected their 22 points, then cut them Monday night to bring Josh Downs back. A productive rental with a very short lease.

From 2024 Sacko to 2025 runner-up to 79.96 in the opener: Jackson refuses to do a quiet character arc. Ja’Marr Chase cost pick 4 and returned 3.20, the lowest score among this week’s starting first-round picks. Chase and Davante Adams combined for 8.80. Mike Evans and Jayden Daniels did what they could, but every possible one-for-one bench rescue still leaves this as a loss. Shark’s running-back trio nearly matched the whole lineup by itself. This was a roster-wide outage, with a very expensive receiver at the center of it.

Last year’s Sacko started the appeal process with a 2–0 week. Justin Jefferson, Javonte Williams, Ladd McConkey, and DJ Moore supplied 95.60, exactly the kind of complete starting lineup the B− draft review praised. Jefferson at pick 17 delivered 31.20 and Javonte at 32 added 24.20. The bench still found a way to nag: Detroit’s 19 sat behind the Rams’ 3. But leaving 16 defensive points behind and still winning by 33.16 is a considerably nicer problem than last season’s final verdict.

D’Andre Swift’s 32.40 and Dallas Goedert’s 23.70 were excellent returns on picks 35 and 83. The rest of the roster declined to participate at the same level. Bo Nix and Harrison Mevis combined for 3.44, while Saquon Barkley’s first-round investment produced 9.00. The draft report questioned how much insurance this roster carried; the backup quarterback, Kyler Murray, scored −0.38, so that particular policy had no payout. Rhamondre Stevenson over Rico Dowdle would have added 10.40, still short of either the opponent or the median. Two bright spots, two losses.

The room’s only A draft got a head-to-head win, but the week’s seventh-best score means a 1–1 split. JSN and Nico Collins combined for 47.40, and Seattle plus Tyler Loop delivered another 33.00. Colston Loveland, pick 46, put a zero in the starting tight-end slot; George Pickens added only 5.80. The particularly annoying receipt: Wan’Dale Robinson over Pickens was a legal 3.00-point upgrade, enough to clear the median and turn this into 2–0. An efficient roster overall, undone by one small decision at the exact dividing line.

Caleb Williams was the week’s highest-scoring starter anywhere in the league: 37.26 from a ninth-round pick. Evan McPherson added 19.00. Together they supplied 58.26% of the Golden Taints’ entire score. The other seven starting slots combined for 40.30. Josh Jacobs and Trevor Etienne, the third- and fourth-round investments, sat on the bench with zeroes; Romeo Doubs put another zero into the lineup. The draft audit flagged pick 44 on Etienne as the board’s biggest premium, and Week 1 provided no rebuttal. Caleb found the ceiling. The roster found the basement.

Three titles in the archive, another 2–0 week on the books. Gibbs, Jeanty, and McBride—the opening trio even the D+ draft review loved—combined for 89.80. Jacksonville added 22.00. Courtland Sutton’s 3.10 and Rome Odunze’s 7.20 are still evidence for the concerns about the receiving depth, but the top of the roster was powerful enough to make those problems somebody else’s conversation. Dakota and Gavin entered with four wins apiece across their archived weekly meetings. The champion now owns the next receipt, by 27.68. Off the field, Dakota also grabbed Patrick Mahomes less than a minute after Nick cut him. Mahomes stayed on the bench this week, but a free quarterback upgrade is a perfectly on-brand way to spend Thursday night.

After last year’s Joe Mixon zero-game saga, Josh Allen delivered something refreshingly tangible: 34.66 from pick 15. Amon-Ra added 28.70 and Chuba Hubbard’s sixth-round 23.70 was the pleasant surprise. But DeVonta Smith, Tee Higgins, and Harold Fannin combined for 21.30, and Tennessee contributed zero. The B− draft report said the passing-game core might have to carry the running backs; this week Chuba was doing some of the carrying. The loss to Dakota stings, but 127.36 was 1.45 above the median. That tiny cushion is the difference between a split and an 0–2 opening.

Pittsburgh’s undrafted defense scored 26.00, the largest contribution on the roster. Take it away, with all else equal, and BONNIE BLUE 42 scores 86.86 and loses this matchup. Chase Brown’s 18.80 was the offensive anchor; the first-round pick, Omarion Hampton, managed 7.30. Kyle Monangai’s 20.40 stayed on the bench behind him. That swap adds 13.10, but even 125.96 would still rank seventh: the median moves when your score changes. The B draft found a useful bench piece; this week’s starters needed Pittsburgh to drag them across the line. A head-to-head escape and a 1–1 split. Then came Thursday night’s roster move: Nick dropped his tenth-round Patrick Mahomes for Kaelon Black. Dakota claimed Mahomes 56 seconds later. The champion apparently keeps a lost-and-found department.

The 2024 runner-up opened with an eviction notice from Pittsburgh’s defense. Jalen Hurts and Breece Hall supplied 44.52, but Kyle Pitts scored zero and the starting receiver trio totaled 23.00. Deebo Samuel’s 18.00 sat on the bench; replacing Jayden Reed’s 5.00 would have added 13.00, still 1.24 short of Nick. Starting both Deebo and Stefon Diggs over Reed and A.J. Brown would have changed the matchup, though that is a two-change hindsight exercise, not the one-swap award below. The C+ draft’s strong top four did not become a complete Week 1 lineup.

The 2024 champion backed up an A− draft with the third-highest score and a 2–0 start. Kenneth Walker’s 34.10, Zay Flowers’ 26.00, and Isaiah Likely’s 26.80 did the heavy lifting. Likely was pick 129: an eleventh-round tight end who outscored every other starting tight end in the league. Meanwhile, fellow late pick Jalen Coker scored 33.80 on the bench while Jaylen Waddle supplied 1.20 in the lineup. That is 32.60 points of unused upside. Luke survived it, winning the closest game of the week by 10.16. The luxury of regret when you still win.

142.10 was enough to beat seven of the other eleven teams. Unfortunately, Luke was not one of them. Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor combined for 59.40, Trevor Lawrence added 26.10 from Round 11, and undrafted Dalton Kincaid contributed 18.00 with Brock Bowers on the bench at zero. The deciding regret was Christian Watson: 32.70 sat behind Luther Burden’s 8.50. That legal swap adds 24.20 and turns a 10.16-point loss into a 14.04-point win. The league’s 2022 regular-season points record holder still banked the median win. Good roster, expensive lineup choice, 1–1 week. Credit the move that worked: he added Kincaid on September 9 while dropping Brock Purdy. Those 18 starting points came from an actual in-season pickup.
